11.1 User Roles
WordPress has built-in user roles with different capabilities.
Default Roles:
- Administrator: Full access to all features
- Editor: Can publish and manage posts and pages
- Author: Can publish and manage own posts
- Contributor: Can write but not publish posts
- Subscriber: Can only read content and manage profile
11.2 User Capabilities
Each role has specific capabilities.
- Read content
- Edit posts
- Publish posts
- Delete posts
- Manage users
- Manage plugins
11.3 Managing Users
Add and manage user accounts.
- Add new users
- Assign user roles
- Edit user profiles
- Delete users
- Reset passwords
