Pages:

  • Static, timeless content
  • Not organized by categories
  • Can have custom page templates
  • Examples: About, Contact, Services
  • Can be hierarchical (parent/child)

Posts:

  • Time-based, blog entries
  • Organized by categories and tags
  • Appear in blog feed
  • Examples: Blog articles, news updates
  • Have publish dates

5.2 Creating Pages

Create static pages for important site content.

  • Add new page from Pages menu
  • Use Gutenberg editor for content
  • Set page template (if available)
